The National Book Challenge is open to individual or classbooks submitted for publishing by June 30th of each year. Here's how it works:
- Every book submitted for publishing is automatically entered and eligible to win.
- Multiple winners are chosen each year.
- Winners are selected based on originality, storyline, and illustration.
A panel of judges reviews each book as it is received. Finalists are selected throughout the school year and notified. At the end of the school year, the judges panel votes from the pool of finalists to select the winners. Winners are notified and announced on social media by July 15th each year.
